The ceremony features Honorees who were selected to be featured in our fundraising book 'A Teen Girl's Historical Guide to Oklahoma Politics' written by Jakky Lynette. They will be honored with 2026 Crown of Distinction Awards.

A "Torch of Legacy" session will then take place where trophied torches are given to selected young women to symbolize the transfer of wisdom and responsibility in advocacy to the next generation.

The march around the Capitol building will then conclude the Capitol Events. Feel free to bring your bullhorns and your activism signs!

Music from D. Chapelle of Power 103.5 will be toggled in between each guest speaker. Miss Brown To You! will be performing.

 The Tasty Snow food truck will be on site serving snow cones, Lelamae’s Catering is donating free hotdogs and hotlinks, and several vendors, nonprofits, and community resource tables will be in attendance.

OKCFD has been requested/is tentatively scheduled for a female firefighter from 4:30-4:45PM to speak how about firefighters respond to the increasing number of mental health-related calls & best practices for the general public.

Continuous music streaming will prevail until the event ends at 7pm.  Wiley Post Park is equipped with restrooms, plentiful parking, and a large playground area.
